  This place contains some of the best fried chicken anywhere... it is a welcome respite for travelers and even locals ... a nice convenience store that has most every kind of beer, soft drink, etc and snacks to go... or you can eat in. Popular with truckers making hauls from or to Mississippi , or those traveling from Denham Springs across the Amite river bridge.( Magnolia beach rd) Greenwell Springs road, or state route 37; trucker friendly, nice place to grab your picnic items and go. They do have ample parking , and the people who work there are nice. This is an honest review based on my personal experience . We really are glad they were able to rebuild after last Augusts flood!
